Star Goddess Rattle

105.00

This Goddess rattle is made of buffalo hide, and filled with rainbow corn, black lentils, hematite, and schissandra. These grains, herbs, and crystals connect you in with the heart of this rattle, as goddess medicine is earth medicine, underworld medicine, birth medicine, and overall strength and healing. This rattle is specifically good for developing a practice based in feminine and goddess medicine, working with womxn, for practitioners doing birth work like midwifery and being a doula, or for those who lead moon circles or red tent ceremonies. A powerful ally for individuals seeking to relate more deeply to their own inner feminine.

Rattles can be used for fun and play, to call in sacred space, cleanse or build up your energy fields, in shamanic journeying, making herbal medicine, in your Reiki practice, or any other time your feeling the need for some extra power, love and magic in your life.

Buffalo hide brings the medicine of prayer. It teaches us to bridge the perceived gap between heaven and earth, inner and outer, spirit and matter. Buffalo is traditionally a being sacred to the Indigenous people of North America, and its medicine is to be used with profound gratitude and respect. Today the Buffalo are still endangered animals, and the descendants of the first nations are still living under the oppression of settler colonialism. Having conscious awareness of these issues as you work with Buffalo medicine can be a powerful way to participate in changing that current reality. Know that your thoughts and love have amazing power, and by building a loving caring relationship with your Buffalo rattle, you serve the remaining Buffalo population, and the land they are so intrinsically tied to. A strong, thick hide, this is a very durable rattle with a gentle, soft, but full sound

The rattle comes with a beautiful handmade bag to keep your rattle safe during travel and from strong temperature changes. The bags are made by my mother, Linda Newton, an artist and mystic.
